"Insolation flower" and its causes

"Exposure to flowers" is sudden at high temperature. It has three phenomenal characteristics: one is the "dry clothes seed tide"; the other is the "dry inside tide" (which means the cotton fiber is partly damp by cottonseed); the three is the high temperature of the epidermis cotton fiber, the heat of the hand, the lack of shaking hands and the feeling of the palm feeling wet.

The main conditions for the formation of "insolation flower" are strong sunshine, high temperature and short time. The causes can be summed up in two aspects: the influence of natural conditions and man-made causes, one is characteristic and the other two is natural conditions. Another kind of "exposure to flowers" and "sun clothes" is caused by artificial picking and improper drying.

First, during the peak season of cotton purchasing, it is on the high summer day. The temperature outside the 13-15 o'clock clock is as high as 38-40 degrees. The cotton and the cotton seeds close to maturity are already outside the temperature range of three to five days. When exposed to short time exposure, the moisture content of the epidermis cotton fibers is volatilized rapidly, and the actual moisture content of the cotton seeds is higher. Second, cotton growers are not suitable for drying flowers. This is because the vast majority of cotton farmers in the south of the Yangtze River are basking in cotton on the cement floor. However, the cement floor is not ventilated, absorbs heat, the water vapor and heat are slow, and the cement floor temperature can reach about 50-60 degrees Celsius. It is precisely because of these human factors that it is prone to wet the upper layer and the lower layer. So cotton planting bamboo raft should be encouraged to spread out. The bamboo stand is ventilated under the sun and up and down. The moisture content of seed cotton is easy to volatilize, and the quality of seed cotton is not easy to destroy. Conditional acquisition enterprises can provide bamboo row for cotton farmers through the cooperation of cotton farmers.

Influence of "exposure to flowers" on several factors

The moisture content of "insolated flowers" is very unstable. The change of moisture has obvious influence on the four parameters of seed cotton weight, seed cotton padded component, lint moisture content, cotton seed water content and electrical measurement.

Cotton has the properties of moisture absorption and moisture release in the air. The moisture regain of cotton fibers exposed to natural influences will increase gradually in the air, and the moisture regain of seed cotton will gradually decrease. The moisture absorption and moisture release of these two species are not balanced for the "exposure to flowers", and the weight of seed cotton will change (decrease). This is due to the serious exposure to the sun, the relative decrease of the cotton seed's adhesion to the fiber, and the entry of magazines such as broken seeds and soft surfaces into lint.
