The First National Leather Inspection Center In East China Will Be Officially Operated.

From the Zhejiang Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau, recently, the national leather quality supervision and Inspection Center (Zhejiang), which was jointly established by the Zhejiang Provincial Quality Inspection Institute and the Haining municipal government and managed by the Zhejiang Quality Inspection Institute, successfully passed the examination and verification of the expert group organized by the AQSIQ with excellent results.

This marks the first national leather inspection center in East China.

Prior to that, the center has successfully passed the "three in one" assessment and acceptance by the China National Accreditation Committee for conformity assessment (CNAS), the national certification and accreditation supervision commission (CNCA) and the Zhejiang provincial quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, and obtained the authorization certificate.

Hou Linling, deputy director of the science and Technology Department of the AQSIQ and director of Liang Jin, participated in the inspection.

The national leather quality inspection center is a state-level technology organization specializing in leather products quality inspection and detection technology research. Since the end of last year, it was approved by the State General Administration of quality supervision and quarantine, and based on the advanced hardware and software capabilities of the leather inspection center of the Zhejiang Provincial Quality Inspection Institute, it has carried out capacity building in strict accordance with the international advanced laboratory standards, especially in the construction of the international standard and the EU directive and other testing capabilities. Some of the testing items have filled the gap in China.
