    The 9 day Mercedes Benz China International Fashion Week (2012/2013 autumn winter series) ended in Beijing in April 1st.     Mercedes Benz China International Fashion Week, a member of Mercedes Benz Global Fashion Festival, has 46 Chinese and foreign brands and institutions, more than 30 Chinese and foreign designers, and nearly 400 design and model rookies in the 751D PARK, Beijing Hotel and other venues held 41 finals, 6 professional competitions finals, the number of publications increased by about 30% compared with the same period last year.


    There are 40 categories of domestic brands and 6 foreign brands for women's wear, men's wear, men's wear, leather goods, children's wear, swimwear, underwear, cold clothing, casual wear, advanced ordering, hairstyles and footwear. Among them, 18 brands are the first fashion week to participate in fashion week, showing that Chinese and foreign brands have full confidence in developing the Chinese market with Mercedes Benz China International Fashion Week platform. Among the 20 Chinese designers who attended the release, there were 5 Golden Summit designers and 7 top ten fashion designers in China. 7 foreign designers came from France, Italy, Germany, Britain and Holland respectively.


    As a leader in fashion, Mercedes Benz is strongly supporting the development of China's fashion industry. It not only provides an exchange platform for young designers with potential in China, but also brings them to the international stage. At the same time, it also brings the latest international fashion concepts and international top brands to China. In the two events organized by Mercedes Benz, a series of works of Chinese famous fashion designers was displayed. The other was the 2012/2013 autumn winter series, which was co operated with Italy's well-known luxury brand Versace (Versace).


    During the fashion week, the China Fashion Designers Association and the French women's clothing association signed the cooperation agreement between China France fashion industry and fashion education industry. The signing of the cooperation agreement aims at strengthening and deepening cooperation between China and France fashion industry, and promoting the complementary advantages and common progress of Chinese and French women's clothing.


    This year's fashion week has launched a "college publishing" section, which aims to support the growth of outstanding young designers, show the style and talent of contemporary college students, and promote college students' Entrepreneurship and employment. This time, nearly 200 outstanding graduates from 6 famous fashion colleges in China participated in the graduation design exhibition. In addition to the Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts has participated in the fashion week many times, the Dalian Institute of technology clothing industry, Northeast Dianli University Art Institute, Wuhan Textile University Clothing Institute, the school of design is the first time to participate. With the help of fashion week's social concern and influence, this activity, which is built on the stage of "discovery, inspiration and hope" for college students, is generally welcomed by teachers and students in Colleges and universities.


    During the fashion week, 6 professional competition finals were held. There was a 20 year celebration of the "Han Po Award". China international fashion designer fashion designer also held the HOSA Cup China fitness apparel design contest for the first time, with nearly 200 design and model rookie participants. Since the founding of the China International Youth designer fashion competition held in 1993, a total of 68 young designers from 23833 countries participated in the competition. The 20 successful competition has become the most competitive and professional event in China.
