At 3:15 p.m. yesterday, a shoemaking factory in the outskirts of Changzhou suddenly burst into flames. The fire that started to burn from a finished warehouse was rapidly spread to another two warehouses by the wind. When the reporter went to the scene for more than half an hour, his face was smoked, and the firefighters and assistants involved in the fire mostly became "black faces".

Changzhou Zhengchang Shoes Co., Ltd., a fire broke out, is located in Xilin Town, Bell Tower district. Yesterday afternoon, a few kilometers away from the scene of the fire, reporters could see black smoke rising from the sky. The black ash was burning everywhere, and the smell of burning rubber was permeated in the air.

Reporters at the scene saw that although three fire squadron arrived at the scene to start fighting, the roof of a warehouse of hundreds of square meters had been burned down. The finished products stored in the warehouse were still burning fiercely by the wind. Then, the fire spread to the other two warehouses nearby. A simple material warehouse was burned down in the fierce fire, and the smoke produced by the burning of rubber materials was enveloped in more than half of the factory area.

It is understood that as the water is hard to penetrate into the interior of the rubber material, the fire department urgently called out the foam to extinguish the fire.

By 6:10 last night, the fire that had been burning for nearly three hours was basically put out.

The fire burned the three warehouses of the company into ruins.

The specific cause of the fire is still under investigation by the fire department.
