Gaoming Will Become The Bridgehead Of The Synthetic Leather Industry.

Yesterday, China (Gaoming) synthetic leather industry development forum was opened. The director of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association and vice president of synthetic leather Specialized Committee Yang Bingzheng suggested that Gaoming should strive to become the bridgehead of the synthetic leather industry in line with international standards.

The forum will last for two days.

While talking about the development plan of the synthetic leather industry in China, many experts also offer advice and suggestions for the further development of the synthetic leather industry.

Yang Bingzheng, vice president of synthetic leather Specialized Committee, director of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association, suggested that Gaoming District should give full play to its advantages in the Pearl River Delta region and close to Hongkong, make technological innovations ahead of schedule in the domestic industry, and use Hongkong as a springboard to integrate with the international market as soon as possible, so as to seize the opportunity in domestic and even foreign market competition.

"Gaoming District is not only the base of China's synthetic leather industry, but also one of the origins of China's synthetic leather industry". Liao Zhengpin, President of China Plastics Processing Industry Association, highly appraised the development status of the plastics industry, especially the synthetic leather industry in Gaoming District.

According to statistics, by the year 2007, the number of synthetic leather enterprises in Gaoming District has increased to 28, with an annual output of 221 thousand tons, accounting for more than 75% of the total output of our province, accounting for 1/8 of the total output of the country.

Ceng Tieqiu, President of the plastics industry association of the region, said that in 2005, Gaoming officially became the "China synthetic leather industry base". This golden signboard greatly enhanced the popularity and competitiveness of the Gaoming synthetic leather industry.

In two years, 15 new synthetic leather product lines were produced in the region, and the output nearly doubled.
