"Big Wave Cup" China Women'S Wear Design Competition Tomorrow

Jointly organized by Shenzhen Municipal Commission of science, technology, industry and commerce, information technology, Shenzhen Baoan District people's government and China Textile Press, Shenzhen garment industry association and Shenzhen

The final of the 2012 big wave cup Chinese women's costume design competition held by the industrial gathering base will be held in Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center on the afternoon of July 10th.

At that time, 20 finalists from the whole country, with their excellent works, won a gold medal, a silver medal and a bronze medal at the stage of hall 5 of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center.

The theme of this competition is "intensive and orient", and it is still adhering to discovering and excavating China.

The purpose of designing talents is to show the strength of Chinese original design, to promote the adjustment and upgrading of Shenzhen women's clothing and even the Chinese women's clothing industry, and to pform the creative oriented knowledge intensive creative culture industry.

From March 25th to May 10th, the competition organizing committee has received 725 professional and domestic design contributions, which has increased by nearly 100% compared with last year.

In May 19th, the jury composed by Wu Haiyan, vice president of the China clothing association, Dean of The China Academy of Art School of design, doctoral tutor, Professor Xie Ping of fashion art and Design Department of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology School of fashion art and engineering, and Xie Yiwen, vice president of ESMOD fashion school in Beijing, made strict and serious assessment of the entries.

Finally, the 20 entries stand out from nearly 1000 entries.

In this final, we will see 20 new fashion designers from all over the country with different perspectives on the concept of "Orient" and the new interpretation of Chinese elements. We will not only combine the current trends, but also pay more attention to the breakthrough and innovation of the design techniques, and more harmoniously and fully present the commercial and market potential of the original design.

A series of wonderful works, to a large extent, represent the achievements of the development of Chinese women's clothing, and more clearly show the momentum of the development of Shenzhen's women's clothing industry.

As a well known representative of women's clothing, China has gone through the pformation from export processing to its own brand and from traditional industries to fashion and creative industries. Now it has become the largest production base of women's clothing brand in China.

The "Shenzhen garment industry gathering base", as an important milestone in the development of Shenzhen's garment industry, has introduced 23 well-known brand enterprises which have great influence in China.

This competition is more interested in combining creativity with production intensification to achieve "intensive calculation, intensive cultivation and excellence". It also highlights the marketization of creativity and optimisation the combination of design innovation, creativity and brand resources and market resources.

Shenzhen women's clothing will provide consumers with "cost-effective" outstanding innovative costumes, truly in the minds of consumers to establish deep-rooted brand image.
