Therefore, only the garment enterprises on both sides of the Strait can work together to expand the international and domestic markets, so as to create a win-win situation.

The author: at present, what is the development status of Taiwan textile enterprises?

Luo Chunmei: due to the impact of the European sovereign debt crisis, the global economy in 2012 is still showing a low growth trend, and the global manufacturing industry is weakening. Therefore, from the first half of this year, Taiwan's textile exports showed a declining trend and hoped to improve in the second half of the year. The market of garment consumption in mainland China is very large, and the product mix ability and specialized production competitiveness of Taiwan garment enterprises are also well known in the industry. Their products are mainly exported to Europe and the United States, and have established good OEM and ODM partnership with the world's top brands. Mainland enterprises have the advantage of abundant labor force, and the two sides can complement each other to expand domestic and foreign markets.
