The third second session of the Federation of industry and the 2012 mid year working conference were held in Nanjing, Jiangsu.

After summing up the overall situation of the industry economy in the first half of 2012 and analyzing the main problems faced by the industry, Wang Tiankai pointed out that from the domestic and international situation, the industry should make long-term and adequate preparations for the arduous and complicated external situation. Enterprises should set their own positions well and do well in targeted work, so as to truly foster strengths and circumvent weaknesses, and seek advantages and avoid disadvantages.

Wang Tiankai asked that industries and enterprises should do the following aspects: first, increase the intensity of product mix adjustment, and actively expand domestic and foreign markets; two, we should further strengthen enterprise management, increase cost control and enhance the ability of enterprises to resist risks; three, we should actively explore and promote the allocation of resources in pnational, p regional and inter industry sectors, enhance the efficiency of resource allocation, and accelerate the pace of industrial pformation and upgrading; four, we must take market demand as the fundamental premise, establish a long-term and innovative mode of operation, and truly establish a business model that suits its long-term development; five, we must strengthen the construction of social responsibility, establish a fair competition pattern among enterprises, establish a fair competition pattern among enterprises, and establish the necessary and harmonious relationship between them.

It is understood that this year, the impact of macroeconomic environment, domestic and foreign market demand weakened significantly, the textile industry slowdown in economic growth is still continuing, the main economic indicators grew faster than the same period last year, the overall situation is grim.

It is mainly manifested in five aspects: the overall decline in production growth, the obvious slowdown in domestic sales, the severe export situation, the slow growth of investment and the decline of enterprise efficiency.

According to the statistics of the National Bureau of statistics, the total textile output value of textile enterprises above Designated Size reached 3 trillion and 146 billion 713 million yuan in 1~7 months this year, an increase of 10.93% over the same period last year, and the growth rate dropped by 18.8 percentage points over the same period last year. At present, the production and marketing growth level is 5.61 and 6.26 percentage points lower than that in the same period of the financial crisis in 2008.

At the same time, data show that sales growth in the domestic market has dropped faster, showing that consumer confidence has been affected by the overall decline in the domestic economy.

At the same time, the external demand market has become more severe this year. 1~7 textile and garment exports decreased by 25.8% over the same period last year. At present, there has been a negative growth trend. Therefore, the domestic market is still an important support for maintaining industry growth in 2012.

The meeting showed that the current operation of the textile industry is mainly faced with two aspects, including internal and external problems. The external environment of the industry is faced with the main problems such as insufficient market demand, continuous increase of cotton price difference at home and abroad, and increasing international competition pressure.

Cotton price has become one of the focuses of this meeting.

Participants said that in the prominent contradiction of the industry itself, the rising pressure of labor costs and other factors of production costs has been increasing. At the same time, the difficulties of financing, the high financing pressure and the appreciation pressure of RMB still exist and so on, which makes the survival of enterprises face greater pressure, and the trend of business benefit differentiation is obvious.

Zhou Yejun, director of the first cotton mill in Wuxi, said that the pformation and upgrading of enterprises is the integration of technological innovation, management innovation, marketing innovation and information technology, so that enterprises firmly occupy the leading position in the cotton spinning industry.

Ling Lanfang, chairman of Silk Road Holding Group Co., Ltd., speaking on the occasion, said that since 2009, the company has proposed 10 years to complete the pformation and upgrading strategy task, and the four pformation of the enterprise has brought the "four best", forming a unique competitiveness.
