"This is very inconsistent with the resources, regional, cultural and labor advantages of Xinjiang."
Liang Yong, while regretted, is very optimistic about the prospect of the development of Xinjiang's clothing industry.
"Xinjiang people are very fond of beauty and dress up. They are more enthusiastic about clothing consumption than many other parts of the country. The domestic demand market in Xinjiang is 16 billion yuan a year, excluding the external market.
But how many people are consuming locally produced clothing? The article in this market is worth doing well.

Further research has laid the foundation for the government to improve the development environment of the clothing industry and introduce policies.
In June this year, the people's Government of the autonomous region officially promulgated the "opinions on accelerating the development of Xinjiang's clothing industry". 22 industrial policies were put forward from the aspects of encouraging investment development, increasing financial support, strengthening financial taxation, promoting employment and promoting the construction of qualified personnel, and making sure that the six key tasks of taking the modern culture as the guide, building the national clothing brand as the breakthrough point, and promoting the Sino West clothing trade as the breakthrough point.
Liang Yong said that in order to speed up the development of Xinjiang's clothing industry, it was proposed that by 2015, the sales target of garment processing industry would exceed 10 billion yuan, the total volume of clothing trade reached 85 billion yuan, and the employment target of 300 thousand people could be absorbed.
At present, Xinjiang has the advantages of policy, resources, location, market and certain industrial foundation. It can be said that the development of Xinjiang's clothing industry is just in time.
Using exhibition to create industrial development environment
A good environment and atmosphere is a necessary condition for career development.
Liang Yong said that the six key tasks of the opinions on accelerating the development of Xinjiang's clothing industry are to optimize the industrial environment and atmosphere.
The first Asia Europe Silk Road clothing festival is a platform to integrate the advantages of Xinjiang's policies, regions, resources and markets, improve the Xinjiang textile industry chain and promote the construction of fashion capital in Western China.
China is a major producer and consumer of clothing in the world.
It is understood that in 2011, China's textile and clothing exports totaled 254 billion 100 million US dollars, accounting for 15% of the world's share from 35% in 2000 to 82% in 2011.
