Statistics On China'S Textile And Apparel Exports To Russia Before May Of This Year

Exports to Russia amounted to US $710 million, an increase of 23.6% over the same period last year.

Textile exports amounted to $240 million, an increase of 28.3% over the previous year, and clothing exports of $470 million, an increase of 21.3% over the same period last year.

May is the fastest growing month this year, representing a 13 percentage point increase over May.

In 1-5 months, China exported 2 billion 550 million dollars to Russian textile and apparel, an increase of 8.5% over the same period last year.

Among them,

1 billion 580 million US dollars, unchanged from last year; textile exports 970 million US dollars, up 25.9% over the same period last year.

Russia, as a new target market for China's exports, is growing at a faster pace and ranking the seventh largest exporter in China.

Among the major export commodities,

Exports of US $560 million, an increase of 2.4% over the same period, and exports of woven garments of US $480 million, down 17.6% from the same period last year.

Yarn exports 40 million US dollars, down 16.8%.

Fabrics and finished products were exported to US $400 million and US $530 million respectively, an increase of 8.8% and 48.6% respectively.

Exports of home textiles in manufactured goods increased significantly, reaching 320 million US dollars, up 81.6% over the same period last year.

The export of chemical fiber woven garments decreased more than US $220 million, a drop of 30%.
