Matching Between Lining Fabric And Fabric Properties

Interlining is also known as cloth cloth in the Pearl River Delta region. It is made of textile lining (cloth lining) and non-woven lining (paper lining). It has high temperature lining and low temperature lining from the performance, and interlining is an indispensable auxiliary material in the process of garment manufacturing, especially the autumn and winter interlining is a commonly used excipient. The role of lining cloth in the process of garment manufacturing has some parts such as stereotyped clothing, convenient clothing sewing, and molding of local clothing.

The physical properties of the interlining include the thickness of the interlining, the elastic force of the lining cloth, the temperature of the lining cloth and the pressure required for the lining to be fixed.

(1) non-woven interlining and woven interlining have different thickness. The thickness of interlining and fabric is very difficult to measure. It can only be judged by vision and sense. The thickness of interlining is classified into three types: thin, medium and thick.

(2) there are two kinds of elastic linings, one is the elastic force of the elastic lining material, and the other is the stretch degree of the yarn in the two systems. The elasticity of the non-woven lining is the tensile degree of the nonwoven lining itself.

(3) interlining temperature is the temperature of interlining viscose, which is usually interfaced with two kinds of high temperature interlining and low temperature interlining.

(4) the degree of firmness of the lining cloth on the fabric is related to the temperature of the interlining, the pressure required for pressing the lining cloth and the length of the ironing. Generally, the pressure of the high temperature interlining is relatively large and the ironing time is relatively long. On the contrary, the pressure of the low temperature interlining is relatively small, and the blanching time is relatively short.

Performance matching is an important factor in selecting interlining.

The physical properties of fabrics are closely related to fabric thickness, fabric elasticity, fabric drapability, fabric heat resistance and interlining ironing.

(1) the relationship between the thickness of the fabric and the thickness of the interlining is directly proportional to the thickness of the fabric. The fabric of autumn and winter clothing is relatively thick, and the interlining is also thicker. The main choice is the spun interlining. On the contrary, the fabric is thinner in spring and summer, and the lining cloth is relatively thin.

(2) the linkages between fabric elasticity and lining elasticity are also proportional. Elastic fabric is selected with elastic interlining, and the fabric with stretch degree is selected with interlining with stretch degree, so that the original characteristics of the fabric can be maintained.

(3) the relationship between drape and lining fabric is mainly manifested in the soft and elegant style of garment. The interlining is relatively soft and light, and the skein yarn interlining can be used.

Use stiff and thick interlining.

(4) the relationship between fabric heat resistance and interlining temperature is mainly related to fabric with high heat resistance and high temperature interlining.

Accordingly, according to the fabric, the pressure and ironing time of the lining should be properly adjusted.
