    Hemp fiber

    Though they are many kinds, they share many commonalities in performance, quality and style because they belong to one substance.


      

    Ramie fiber


    Ramie fiber is a single fiber consisting of a single cell. Its length is the longest in the plant fiber. The cross section is waist shaped, with a middle cavity. The two ends are closed and pointed. The whole fiber is flat tubular, twisting, smooth and slightly nodular.

    Ramie is a perennial perennial herb. In China, it is basically a white leaf ramie.

    The non esterified carboxyl groups in pectin will combine with polyvalent metal ions to form salt, form a network structure and reduce solubility. The stability of pectic substances to acids, bases and oxidants is lower than that of cellulose.

    Russia, Belgium and northeast and Northwest China are the main producing areas in the world, which are suitable for growing in cold regions with high latitude.


      

    Flax fiber

    The bundles are distributed in the phloem of the stem. There are 20~40 circular bundles in the stem of the hemp. A cell is a fiber. Hemicellulose is the highest content in the gum of hemp. It is the main target of hemp degumming.

    Because hemicelluloses are smaller in molecular weight than cellulose, they are more unstable than cellulose in terms of acids, bases and oxidants. Most hemicelluloses can be dissolved in hot lye.

    A bundle of fibers has 30~50 roots and single fibers.

    In different parts of hemp stem, the structure of single fiber and bundle fiber is different. The single fiber cross section of the root is round or oblate, with thin cell walls, many layers, large and hollow pulp, most of the fibers in the middle part of the stem are polygonal, thick cell walls, and tightly bundled fibers. The quality of the fibers is the best in the stems and stems, and the fibers in the stems are composed of loose bundles, and the cells are fine.
