It is one of the more common faults. It is easy to find and solve problems only by careful observation.
Taking the two sewing machines and reinforcing machines as examples, the author analyzes the causes of the faults respectively and explains the solutions.

Reason 1: bad coordination between needle and shuttle.
Because of the poor synchronous adjustment of the shuttle, or the movement of the shuttle in the running of the machine, the movement of the needle from top to bottom is just the collision with the edge of the swallowtail groove of the rotary shuttles and damages the tip of the needle.
Exclusive method: confirm the height of the needle bar is accurate, that is, when the needle is at the lower dead center, the lower edge of the needle hole slope is located in the position of the needle pinhole 1/2.
When the needle is lifted up from the bottom dead point to 2.2mm, the shuttle spindle reaches the center of the needle, and the gap between the needle and the shuttle is 0.05mm.
Reason two: spin shuttle wear serious.
The loose basket of the shuttle is too loose, and the needle tip of the machine reaches the bottom of the dead point with the edge of the pinhole to damage the tip of the needle. In addition, the spindle deformation or burr makes the tip of the machine rub the tip of the machine in the lower dead point with the edge of the spindle.
Elimination method: replace the rotary shuttle and check the shuttle sleeve and shuttle core. The spindle must be smooth, smooth and burr free.

Reason 1: the knife is too near.

When running to the low speed zone, the knife moves slightly forward, when the needle is running downwards, just touching the knife and causing the tip of the bald needle.
Troubleshooting: loosen the fastening screws of the tool connecting rod, move back a little, and then lock the screws.
Reason two: presser foot position is not standard.
The presser foot is installed at the front or rear, which causes the needle to touch the edge of the presser foot and damage the needle tip.
Troubleshooting: properly install the presser foot, let the machine turn off the power when it is longitudinally delivered, turn the belt wheel with the hand to see whether the needle is rubbing with the edge of the presser foot, release the press on the tripod, fix the screws, move the presser forward or backward, and then lock the screws.
Reason three: parking time is too early.
If the parking time is too early, the return ball from the shears is too early to fall from the driving plate, and the shear line connecting rod moves forward to push the moving knife, so that the moving knife moves forward a bit, when the machine runs to the last few pins, and it will hit the tip of the needle with the moving knife.
Troubleshooting: lift up and lock the nose, loosen the 3 screws on the big plate with the inner six side wrench, gently turn the brake shifting cam clockwise and lock the screws.
Then turn on the power, pedal down, turn the machine to the end and turn off the power.
Finally, turn the belt wheel with your hand to see if the parking block is on the first screw of the parking cam. If the parking is not accurate, 3 screws must be adjusted again and again. Note: we must stop at this location. Parking will damage the needle tip too soon. Stopping too late will affect the shear line, and sometimes cut the line continuously and stop the noise very loud.
Reason four: shuttle bed rail wear and shuttle bed cover wear.
When the shuttle track is seriously worn, the running trajectory of the shuttle is not stable at high speed.

The downward movement is rubbing against the edge of the shuttle and damaging the tip.
The wear of shuttle cover is the same as that of shuttle bed.
Elimination method: if the shuttle bed is worn seriously, it can only replace the shuttle bed.
If the shuttle cover is worn out, the problem can be solved only by smoothing or replacing the shuttle cover.
