It has been held every two years and has been successfully held three times in this county since 2002. The shoe size enterprises in the field and the famous shoe enterprises have been settled in Bishan and contributed to the westward shift of the Eastern shoe enterprises. At present, there are more than 1300 shoe making enterprises and operators in Bishan, with over 60 thousand employees. The shoe making (leather) industry has become one of the three pillar industries in the county, and now produces 62 million pairs of leather shoes, of which 15 million are exported, with an annual output value of 4 billion 570 million yuan, and its products have been exported to Central Asia, South Asia and Europe, Africa and other places. Due to the increasing impact of "Bishan made" leather shoes, it has attracted wide attention from colleagues at home and abroad. By the agreement of the China Leather (leather) association and the Chongqing municipal government, the shoe Fair held in May 18th this year will be upgraded to the international shoe fair. It is reported that 18 to 20 May, the United States, Italy, Russia, Brazil, Pakistan, India, Hongkong and other 7 countries and regions, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Fujian and other more than 20 provinces and autonomous regions more than 1600 shoe manufacturers and purchasers will visit the event, participate in talent exchanges, from the industry will have more than 10000 applicants. Paying close attention to people's livelihood, recruiting talents, promoting employment and improving the employment environment will become one of the highlights of this event. According to Zheng Yong, deputy director of the Bishan employment service administration, by the end of May 11th, 110 Chinese and foreign shoe companies had thrown out employment positions, and more than 6 thousand positions have been created, creating the most recruited Shoe Expo. With the recruitment time approaching, the number of recruitment factories and positions is expected to increase.
