Foreign Exchange Earnings Of Textile Exports In Kenya Amounted To US $257 Million.

The Export Promotion Council (Export Promotion Council) expects that foreign exchange earnings of textile exports will reach US $257 million this year, accounting for 4.5% of the total exports of the country.

Textile experts say

It has become the third largest source of foreign exchange earnings in Kenya.

With the increase of investment and the improvement of quality control, the foreign exchange earnings of textile exports will continue to increase.

Julius Korir, executive director of the committee, said that the official report had not been included in the textile trade of small and medium enterprises (and personal cross-border trade), involving millions of dollars in textile trade, with revenues far higher than official statistics.

The Kenya Association of Manufacturers said that at present, there are 60 textile enterprises in the country, and there are about 100 SMEs in the textile market.

Bella Akinyi, the public relations manager of the association, said that Kenya textile operators had huge business connections and created a large number of job opportunities.

After opening the textile market, we encourage more large and small businesses.

Purchase raw materials from overseas and provide textile products in the domestic market.

In addition, thousands of small textile trade shops all over the country.

More importantly, the vigorous development of the textile market has provided a lot of cheap and fine clothing.
