Nike08 Summer Dunk Liberty (Attached)

In the summer of 2006, Nike designers visited the Liberty department store in the west end of London, a famous British Tudor architecture. The classic fabric of Liberty inspired designers.

Nike design team chose two classic designs of Liberty to create two limited edition Nike Dunk:Wilshire and Pepper.

The fabric of Liberty is mainly composed of soft colors. The full version of plant pattern and meticulous dynamic design complement each other with the concise design line of Nike Dunk.

The middle sole of limited edition sports shoes is made of natural rubber, and the upper is made of heavy Liberty fabric. It has strong and durable characteristics.

In the process of building this sneaker, the designer consulted the British designers in Nike global design team to ensure that the appearance of sports shoes presented the English essence perfectly.

Nike collaborate with various materials suppliers, creative companies and female designers to break through the boundaries of traditional design.

Through dialogue with outsiders and understanding their insights, designers have launched many innovative products in recent years. These products span the boundaries between sports and fashion, such as the use of Nike Terminator of Harris wool, the Nike Air Force 1 using Merino wool, and Nike Blazer designed in collaboration with New York graffiti artist and fashion designer CLAW Money in October 2006.
