The Foundry Enterprises In The Pearl River Delta Migrated To Southeast Asia Have Some Reflux.
< p > < strong > Dongguan: shoe enterprises have moved to Southeast Asia to slow down. Part of them choose to return to < /strong > /p >
< p > Pearl River Delta, as the most developed region in China's < a href= "http://www.91se91.com/news/index_c.asp" > manufacturing industry > /a, has gathered a large number of labor-intensive OEM enterprises. For a long time, the low labor force price has been the largest capital for these OEM enterprises to survive. But that is the past. With the rapid increase of labor costs, the foundry enterprises that forced the profit margins to be low are forced to find new "price depression". Vietnam, Kampuchea, Philippines and other Southeast Asian countries have become the choice of many OEM enterprises. < /p >
Less than p ago, a wave of outward migration from the Pearl River Delta to Southeast Asian countries began to emerge in the foundry industry. The footwear industry was particularly prominent. From 2008 to the present, according to incomplete statistics, the number of Taiwan funded shoe enterprises in the Pearl River Delta has decreased by more than 1000, and 1/3 of them have moved to Southeast Asia. < /p >
< p > but recently, the momentum of relocation has slowed down. Some of the OEM owners who once had the idea of relocation have decided not to transfer after visiting Southeast Asia. Why is that? Our correspondent has conducted an investigation in Dongguan, the most concentrated shoe manufacturer. < /p >
Less than P, from Dongguan to Southeast Asia, most of the foundry shoemaking enterprises are Taiwanese capital, and the destinations are mostly Vietnam, Kampuchea and other countries, because the labor cost there is much lower than that in China. Wang Xinghua, a Taiwanese businessman who has been engaged in shoemaking for more than 30 years, invested and built factories in the mainland in early 90 of last century. He had many foundry enterprises, and like other Taiwanese businessmen, he once wanted to move the factory to Southeast Asia. But after a field trip, he dismissed the idea. < /p >
< p > Wang Xinghua, director general of Taiwan Footwear Association, said, after I visited several countries, I chose to stay in the motherland. I don't like a href= "http://www.91se91.com/news/index_p.asp" > Southeast Asia < /a > several factors, although the wage is low, but the efficiency is too poor. < /p >
< p > shoe making as a labor-intensive industry has always been characterized by cheap labor. Over the past 30 years, many shoemaking enterprises have gradually migrated to China from the developed countries such as Europe and the United States under the traction of labor costs, and have settled down to the Pearl River Delta region represented by Dongguan. However, since the beginning of 2008, with the attraction of cheaper labor costs, foreign shoe enterprises began to migrate to Southeast Asia. Moreover, the "a href=" http://www.91se91.com/news/index_cj.asp "financial crisis" /a directly exacerbated this trend and intensified. But in recent years, this trend has slowed down considerably. < /p >
< p > Wang Xinghua, chairman of Taiwan Footwear Association, said that from the chat in our industry, they continued to move forward in Southeast Asia. There were many reasons for the cancellation, but the momentum should be gone. < /p >
Chen Zhenghua, who specializes in the production of shoe materials, has tried to make the factory move to Vietnam to do the supporting services for the relocation of shoe manufacturers under the persuasion of others. However, after some investigation, he found that such relocation is not cost-effective. P < /p >
Chen Zhenghua, manager of Dongguan Tian Jun shoe material factory, said that at the time, the cost of transporting my guests to Vietnam was relatively high. I hoped that I would set up a factory in Vietnam and later found that the market share was limited in P. < /p >
< p > due to the lack of industry support and the limited local market, some outsourcing enterprises found that it is no easy task to have a firm foothold in Southeast Asian countries, so some enterprises have been relocated to Dongguan. < /p >
< p class= "P0" > {page_break} < /p >
< p > < /p >.
< p > Wan Zhuopei, mayor of Houjie Town, Dongguan, said that no matter whether it is his own innovation or even expanding the market, he can find a good configuration in our place. So these advantages make the original manufacturing enterprise (shoe industry) originally transferred out, and finally choose to return to the thick Street. < /p >
< p > < strong > Dongguan: the wage increase is difficult to manage, and the cost advantage of Southeast Asia is weakened. < /strong > < /p >
< p > OEM enterprises choose to move out or stay behind. In the final analysis, there is only one determinant, that is profit, and labor cost is only one of many factors that affect the efficiency. Therefore, it appears that despite the fact that Southeast Asian countries have lower labor costs, they still choose to stay at home. Many foundries told our reporters that the reason why they no longer moved to Southeast Asia is that the industrial chain is not perfect and infrastructure is also a key factor in addition to the weakening of labor costs in Southeast Asian countries. < /p >
< p > according to incomplete statistics, before 2008, there were about more than 3000 Taiwanese funded shoe enterprises in the Pearl River Delta. Due to closure and relocation, there are more than 2000 Taiwan funded shoe enterprises in the Pearl River Delta region, which have decreased by nearly 1/3, of which about more than 300 have moved to Southeast Asia. However, due to the continuous rising of labor costs in Vietnam and other places in recent years, the advantages of "low wage" in Southeast Asian countries are being reduced or even lost. < /p >
< p > Wang Xinghua, director of the Taiwan Footwear Association, said that their labor cost has reached 1/2 in China today, and even the cost of some countries close to the mainland has reached two hundred yuan and three hundred US dollars, as the labor cost of these countries is very close to that of the mainland. < /p >
