"Taiwanese businessmen build agricultural products wholesale markets in Tianjin because of geopolitical relations, they used to be foreign-funded enterprises in the Pearl River Delta to recruit workers in Hunan and southern Jiangxi. Wu Zhenchang, who has visited the Hunan and Jiangxi provinces many times, thinks that the population of the inland cities is small and mainly local laborers. Generally, the labor-intensive enterprises go to set up factories. The scale of each factory can only maintain about 2000 people.
This phenomenon will cause enterprises to set up factories in their strongholds too dispersed, and then there will be difficulties in supporting and managing them.
In addition, influenced by the influx of employees in inland provinces, the direction of recruitment of Taiwanese companies in Guangdong has also changed dramatically, and the situation of local employees has changed.

Wu Zhenchang believes that it is mainly in today's traditional industries that wage levels have risen to the acceptable level of local people, which will result in a significant increase in the number of local employees in Panyu.
In addition to the locals in Guangzhou, other parts of Guangdong, especially those in North Guangdong and western Guangdong, have also been growing rapidly, filling the shortage of jobs in part of their return to employment.
Now, due to the increasingly serious shortage of workers in Hunan and Jiangxi provinces, wages in some inland cities have increased rapidly to 1000 yuan in the past 1 years.
At present, there are basically no shortage of industrial land in the inland cities adjacent to Guangdong. However, the phenomenon of lack of work has attracted the need to find labour in other provinces. Local Taiwanese businessmen believe that this phenomenon of labor shortage is coming early, which will inevitably affect the future investment in the interior.
