In this case, the shop owner failed to inform consumers of the possible effects of shoes cleaning, and should bear the primary responsibility for the problems after the shoes were washed, and should compensate Miss Chen for the loss.
Of course, for shoes that have been worn, they should also be depreciated according to the relevant provisions of the "measures".
Finally, through the Consumer Association mediation, the two sides reached an agreement: the shop returned the cost of cleaning and maintenance of Ms. Chen's shoes, 30 yuan, and gave Miss Chen 550 yuan compensation. Miss Chen expressed satisfaction with the result.
