CPSC Recalls Children'S Shoes And Necklaces Made In China

In July 10, 2008, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission and Action Products International Limited jointly announced the voluntary recall of the Chinese children's personalized handicraft suit.

The recalled children's personal handicraft suit has 2 models, namely "Super Dooper Charms" (product number #63403) and "Shoelace Charms" (product number #67310). Different small accessories (such as pendants, beads, metal wires and buckles) can be combined into chains, accessories, shoes chains, etc., hanging on shoelaces, backpacks, or as zippers.

The product number is marked on the back of the product package.

The handicraft suit was sold in the United States from July 2007 to April 2008. The price of "Super Dooper Charms" is 17 USD / set, and the price of "Shoelace Charms" is 6 USD / set.

The number of recalled products is about 18500 units.

The reason for the recall is that the lead content on the surface of the buckles in the handicraft is over standard, and if it is exposed to children for a long time, it will cause adverse effects on their health.

At present, Action Products International Limited has not received any report of the accident.

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission recommends that consumers immediately withdraw the recalled products from children and contact Action Products International Limited for return and free replacement of other commodities.
