ADI Releases The Chinese Sports Delegation'S Beijing Olympic Games Award Dress.

Yesterday, Adidas released the Chinese sports delegation's Beijing Olympic Games award dress.

In the past Olympic Games, the Chinese sports delegation's award dress was designed by the Chinese Olympic Committee and its internal decisions were different.

This time, the Chinese Olympic Committee launched the design competition as early as February 2007 in order to show the best appearance of Chinese athletes to the local Olympic Games and create a "truly Chinese Award dress".

Over 3 months' collection received more than 2000 pieces of design works from home and abroad. After experts' selection, the works from Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology won the competition.

In order to make every athlete wear a fitting garment and take a tailored suit and tailor the way, the Chinese sports delegation's award is 1 meters 40 to 2 meters 26, and there are 17 different sizes. In production, due to the large number of garments and the inability to open the pattern, the award dress is all printed separately and hand sewn. In order to get better visual effects, the award winning clothing adopts the costly digital printing technology to complete the printing of the pattern and color of the award dress.

Different from the past, each athlete will receive two sets of Olympic award dress: one set on the podium and the other will be remembered.
