The Transformation And Strength Of "Made In China" To "Chinese Design"

Combing clothing 20 years of development in the industry, September 5th, China Silk Museum, fashion media group and Chinese clothing. Designer The association has jointly hosted the "era image - Chinese fashion art 1993~2012" exhibition at today's Art Museum in Beijing. The exhibition brings together representative works of outstanding designers from 1993~2012, and finally screened 100 pieces of iconic fashion works featuring nearly 70 designers, including Zhang Chao Da, Wu Haiyan, Zhang Zhifeng, Xie Feng, Liu Wei and Wang Yutao.

The exhibition is displayed on three major themes: origin, blending and construction. It represents and reflects the overall level of contemporary Chinese fashion design, shows the artistic achievements of Chinese fashion design, and promotes the transformation and strength of China from "made in China" to "Chinese design". This is actually a review of the development of Chinese contemporary fashion in the global context for 20 years.

The selection of the fashion art exhibition is sponsored by Zhao Feng, director of the China Silk Museum. Fashion Designer Li Dangqi, chairman of the association, vice chairman of the International Artists Association of China, Zhang Zhaoda, Wu Haiyan, the famous fashion designer, Lu Rongzhi, the famous curator, art critic Lu Rongzhi, Bao Mingxin, Professor of Donghua University and other academic committee members.

The exhibits will be permanently collected by the China Silk Museum. Chinese fashion as a museum of art and art gallery is the first time in China, which will make fashion art eternal. Zhao Feng said.

When it comes to fashion art, Li said: "in this fashion art exhibition, we have focused on the famous designers of various stages in the past 20 years and the classic works of the latest designers of various competitions. They create a forward-looking vision and a beautiful fashion landscape for us, inspiring our minds and touching our heartstrings."

The exhibition of this fashion art exhibition has also been cataloged as an album of paintings, so that more people can glimpse the glory and classic of Chinese contemporary fashion art in the past 20 years. It will also provide important reference materials for the future study of Chinese contemporary fashion art, and help to promote "Chinese design" better.
