The International Purchase Festival Of Chinese Women'S Shoes Will Be Held In Chengdu In October

From October 14th to October 16th, the third international procurement festival of women's shoes in 2008 will be held in Chengdu.

The reporter learned today (20) at the news conference held by the provincial government that this is the first international and professional procurement activity held in Sichuan after the disaster.

At that time, women's shoes from all over the world will be gathered in Chengdu to show their luxurious demeanor.

At present, there are more than 2000 shoemaking enterprises in Chengdu, with the annual output of over 200 million pairs of women's shoes, ranking third in the country. It has become a famous and world leading "women's shoes city" in the whole country. The footwear industry of the whole country is gradually forming a large pattern of Guangzhou, Wenzhou, Quanzhou and Chengdu "three states and one capital".

Cui Zhaojin, deputy director of the Provincial Department of Commerce, said the procurement festival was hosted by the China Light Industry Federation, the provincial government, the municipal government and the provincial commerce department. The theme is "facing the world, building platforms, entering Sichuan and undertaking pfer".

Chengdu has great advantages in undertaking domestic "East shoes moving westward" and "western shoes moving eastward" abroad. As the first national origin exhibition of women's shoes in China, this procurement festival will play a positive role in this regard.

"After the earthquake, the footwear industry in Sichuan still has vigorous vitality, and Sichuan's determination to undertake the footwear industry pformation in the whole country has never changed."

Jiang Xianji, a consultant to the provincial government, said that the provincial Party committee explicitly requested to vigorously carry out industrial cooperation and docking of related industries, successfully undertake industrial pfer, and did overall work deployment for this purpose.

In June of this year, the chairman of the Italy shoes and shoes co chairman, Bai Ya Du, made a special trip to Chengdu. After carefully examining all aspects of the situation, he said that Sichuan is still the best base for China's footwear industry to undertake industrial pfer.

From July 21st to August 4th, the Provincial Department of Commerce organized 56 enterprises, mainly shoes, to go to Italy, Spain and France to carry out the "Sichuan Europe economic and trade activities week". It has been recognized by overseas footwear organizations and enterprises, and has made good progress in negotiations.

At present, 6 shoe industry organizations and 38 top European footwear enterprises have decided to participate in this procurement Festival.
