Beijing time December 6th evening news, in a difficult position U.S.A SHLD, a retail giant, announced on Friday that it plans to spin off its Lands' End clothing direct sale business to an independent company, Sears.

The company said it plans to distribute all the shares of Lands' End to the existing shareholders in a tax-free manner, but the division still needs approval from the board.

In order to reverse the performance of its large retail chain, Sears has been selling assets and splitting business. And since 2010, the company has closed more than 300 stores.

In October this year, Sears said that it was considering splitting Lands' End and Sears Auto Center business, but the company did not mention Sears Auto Center in its statement on Friday.

Lands End is one of the largest clothing distributors in the world. It was founded in 1963 and was bought by Sears for $1 billion 900 million in 2002.

according to Russia The website of the Communist Youth League reported in December 5th that 25 thousand illegal immigrants were working in the underground clothing factory outside Moscow.

Police found an underground garment factory in Ivan jeffk, a suburb of Moscow. The illegal clothing factory is located in an abandoned textile mill. The police explained that the immigrants from Southeast Asia made clothing here, including children's clothing, which seriously violated Russia's stipulation on protecting consumers' lives and health and safety. The underground company has more than 25 thousand illegal immigrants working.

During the operation, the police seized about 2000 sewing equipment and more than 70 tons of fake and shoddy clothes in the factory, all of which were labeled with well-known clothing enterprises.

This is not the first raid in Moscow for illegal immigrants. In November 15th, the police department conducted a routine inspection of the shopping center "Moscow" on Lublin street. At last, a total of more than 700 people were detained - illegal immigrants from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

Oeko-Tex launches new environmental protection product badge

In early November Switzerland In the Oeko-Tex general manager meeting held by Lucerne, there were many initiatives concerning the implementation of new product badge for sustainable textiles.

The purpose of the new Oeko-Tex product badge is to assist brands and retailers to communicate to consumers that the product has been used in perpetual production conditions in the production chain.

The new logo will replace the Oeko-Tex 100-plus standard and will be released to the market in the summer of 2014. The badge will confirm that the product is free from harmful substances and is produced in an environmentally friendly and social responsibility manner.

Another development is to launch a new tool called "MySTeP" to facilitate retailers to list "STeP certified" production plants from their apparel supply chain.

This "STeP certification system" has been launched this year to assess the environmental and social responsibility of production facilities.

So far, five European textile enterprises have obtained the "STeP certification" badge, namely Hermann B Lu hler, Mattes & Ammann, Weberei Appenzell, Otto and Pascual y Bernabeu.
