China'S Apparel Industry Still Thriving After The Financial Crisis Struck

Besides, the "bustle" of the clothing festival also benefited from the help of local governments.
Xu Yongda, vice mayor of Changshou City, a gathering place of China's clothing market, said that textile and clothing are Changshu's traditional dominant industries, with more than 5000 existing clothing and apparel enterprises, with an annual output value exceeding sixty billion yuan.
It is the responsibility of the government to create public service platforms such as technology, R & D, logistics and so on, to guide enterprises to enter the high-end industry chain. At the same time, through supporting policies and measures such as incentives, enterprises are allowed to take the road of independent innovation.
It is reported that the scale of China Jiangsu (Changshu) clothing and apparel exhibition has expanded year by year, and the volume of trade turnover has increased from the first three billion and nine hundred million to eleven billion and six hundred million yuan, and has become one of the mainstream professional fairs in China's clothing industry.
In addition, this year's Expo will be shifted from the exhibition hall to the trade market, and the paction function will be strengthened. Buyers from home and abroad can directly discuss business with the sellers directly and face-to-face.
In this way, the buyers can save the profits from the intermediate links, and facilitate the sellers to quickly respond to the market and technology information so as to enhance the market competitiveness.

Changshu Garment City, founded in 1985, now has thirty-five professional markets, including 28000 shops, more than 5000 famous clothing brands, and eighty thousand operators from home and abroad, including "China menswear center", "China pants industry center", "China clothing tail goods center" and so on.
This year's sales volume is expected to exceed forty-five billion yuan.
According to the introduction, the new investment and construction of several trading markets, the rate of admission has reached more than seventy percent.
Whether it is to expand the sales side of clothing sales in the central and western regions, or to fight for domestic sales of foreign trade enterprises, the development of China's clothing industry is still full of confidence.
