Guangdong Huidong Annual Shoes 660 Million Pairs

Yesterday, the fourth Huidong Shoes Culture Festival and fashion women's shoes ordering will be moved to Guangzhou, and the same venue will be held at the same time as the Canton Fair, in order to make better use of the international event platform, so that buyers and buyers at home and abroad can reach zero distance from shoe companies.

According to Su Chaoying, director of the China Leather Association, Huidong produced 660 million pairs of shoes last year, with a total output value of 11 billion 200 million yuan, of which more than 600 million pairs of women's shoes account for about 1/3 of the total number of women's shoes in Guangdong Province, accounting for about 1/7 of the total production of women's shoes in China. It is the "singles champion" in the footwear industry of Guangdong and China's footwear industry.

Wang Jianxin, chairman of Guangdong Leather Association, believes that Guangdong has become a big province of leather shoes and shoes in China and the world, and shoes products account for 1/4 of the world's total.

However, since the second half of 2006, the footwear industry has gradually entered a relatively difficult period. The growth rate has slowed down obviously: exports have shrunk, orders have been reduced, costs have increased and profits have been slender; enterprises have compressed production, and some have even failed.

Hu Jianbin, Huidong county magistrate, introduced that the Huidong county Party committee and county government issued the "Implementation Opinions on key support for the development of 100 shoe-making enterprises", and took the way of organizing the shoe culture festival and order meeting in the same period at the same time as the 104th session of the "Canton Fair" in Guangzhou, so that Huidong shoemaking enterprises can keep close contact with buyers at home and abroad, help enterprises expand the sales channels of products, and solve the difficulties and problems faced by the footwear industry development.
