Shaoxing Textile Industry: Enhance Confidence And Face Challenges

Shaoxing, Zhejiang, an important textile industry base in China, takes active measures to cope with the changes in the international market.

In September 29th, Zhejiang Hualian three Xin Petrochemical Co., Ltd. was forced to stop production due to lack of funds. The closure of the upstream raw material production enterprises of the famous domestic textile enterprises caused a great response in hundreds of textile enterprises in Shaoxing. Facing the grim situation, the Shaoxing municipal government immediately issued a series of emergency measures to help enterprises restructure.

In mid October, two enterprises in Zhejiang invested 900 million yuan and 600 million yuan respectively to reorganize Hualian three Xin.

At present, the injection party has sent the working group to participate in the operation and management of three Xin Lian, and decided to resume normal production in the near future.

Shaoxing also made the decision of "early response and early adjustment", and shifted the textile export market from Europe and America to Asia and Africa. Two textile industrial parks were set up in Africa to provide a platform for Shaoxing textile enterprises to "go out" in the form of "tug of arms" and "industrial chain". Now there are more than 70 enterprises in the whole city, and the intermediate textile market has been opened up in Brazil and Thailand.

While opening up new markets abroad, 30% of textile exporters in Shaoxing have also set their sights on the domestic market.

Shaoxing Fengyi group and Hongkong shark International Group jointly develop the domestic textile market, changing the jacquard and embroidery technology commonly used in export products to reactive printing and dyeing technology, reducing the cost of products. In September alone, the number of franchised stores in China increased from 5 to more than 20.
