Jinjiang Shenzhen Shanghai Builds The Largest Underwear Production Base In China

By the end of this year, the professional standard workshop of Jinjiang Shenzhen and Shanghai underwear with a planned area of 460 Mu is expected to be capped. The first batch of underwear enterprises will be able to enter the second half of next year.

Zhuang Xin Bao, deputy mayor of Shen Hu Town, said the new base is equivalent to reconstructing a famous town in Shenzhen and Shanghai, providing about 24400 jobs.

At that time, Shenzhen and Shanghai will also become one of the largest underwear production bases in China.

There are more than 200 underwear enterprises in Shenzhen and Shanghai, with an annual output value of about 4 billion 500 million yuan, which is one of the most important underwear production bases in China.

Zhuang Zibao, deputy mayor, said that the existing underwear businesses in Shenzhen and Shanghai are mainly small and medium sized enterprises, mostly located in townships.

Because of the large number of people in Shenzhen and Shanghai, many enterprises are faced with the problem of crowded production conditions and lack of development space.

In addition, the staffing facilities are insufficient, and recruitment is difficult.

In view of the current situation, last year, Shenzhen and Shanghai began planning about 460 acres of land, and built professional standard factory buildings for underwear.

The project is located on the side of Hua Ke Road, with a total construction area of about 610 thousand square meters, with a planned investment of nearly 700 million yuan. The first phase of construction started in May this year.

The standard workshop will be divided into 6 functional areas: administrative office area, logistics storage area, southern production area, southern dormitory area, northern production area and Northern dormitory area in the form of specialized garden.

Such a reasonable division of labor will also help guide SMEs out of the "three in one" embarrassing era and move towards standardized production safety mode.

In addition, there will be an apartment of about 12250 people in the base, and half of the workers will be accommodated, with an average living space of 9.5 square meters.

In this way, the export of enterprises to the welfare threshold of European and American countries will be more emboldened.

"We will also set up kindergartens and other facilities to solve the worries of the enterprises."

Zhuang Zibao told reporters.

After the completion of the first phase of the standard workshop, there will be both renting and selling.

It is also understood that Jinjiang is formulating preferential policies for relevant enterprises.
