China'S Home Textile Industry Social Responsibility Collective Action Project
In order to further promote the construction of home textiles social responsibility system and promote the experience of home textiles social responsibility, and with others Spin Together with the joint efforts of the industry to build sustainable development, the China Federation of Home Textiles Association, the China Federation of textile associations, has launched a social responsibility collective action project with the theme of "responsible brand and sustainable consumption".
The project was officially launched in March 2014. By jointly issuing the Declaration on collective responsibility for social responsibility in China's textile industry, it not only declared the consciousness of participating in strengthening social responsibility, but also issued a positive appeal to the whole industry to strengthen social responsibility.
The project will be implemented in a phased way, from top to bottom, in stages, and ultimately to tap the potential of home textile consumer market, to promote the coordinated action of industry enterprises in the field of social responsibility, and to realize the healthy competition of conscientious performance.
At present, twelve brand home textile enterprises have responded positively.
Over the years, in order to actively promote the social responsibility of the home textile industry, the China Textile Association has made a series of work. With the support of the national industrial and commercial, quality inspection, customs, Industry Standardization Technical Committee and famous home textile enterprises, the home textile industry has set up more than 200 standards, which makes the home textile production standard. The home textile industry has gradually been standardized, and the product quality and brand image have been continuously improved, and social responsibility has been continuously strengthened.
Social responsibility has always been highly valued by the leaders of the China Textile Federation and the leaders of Home Textile Association.
Sun Ruizhe, vice president of China Textile Industry Federation, said, "in 2014, China's textile industry clothing The social responsibility of the industry has entered the stage of three dimensional promotion. Based on previous social responsibility work, China Textile Federation has conducted in-depth research on four subfields of clothing, home textiles, chemical fiber and printing and dyeing. It will focus on the social responsibility problems in different fields, and will refine the problems and solve them one by one.
Yang Zhaohua, President of the China Household Textile Industry Association, said: "apart from individual home textile enterprises having a complete industrial chain, the other home textile brands are in the industrial terminal. They not only directly face consumers, but also have to deal with upstream fabric manufacturers. On the one hand, a responsible society should make good use of the fabric, manage the supply chain well, produce good products, and on the other hand, do well in the circulation field.
President Yang Zhaohua stressed that "quality is the foundation of products, but without standards there is no quality. Social responsibility needs to be measured by standards." The establishment of an international industry standard is an important part of the social responsibility work of the home textile industry, and it also provides a feasible production criterion for the brand enterprise.
In the previous period, the eight research teams of the China Textile union organization went to the textile enterprises and markets throughout the country to conduct research. Yang Zhaohua, chairman of the brand group, concluded that after the survey, "industry standards need to be publicizing and carrying out. From the previous market tests and the results of this investigation, many domestic textile enterprises failed to spot checks. Some of them were caused by inaccuracy of production sites, water washing labels, raw material components and other inaccuracies on the tag, but seemingly small things, but small matters, which reflected that enterprises did not pay enough attention to standardization and did not realize the importance of social responsibility. Through the publicity and implementation of standards, we should let more industrial clusters and manufacturers understand these industry standards, consciously incorporate these standards into the operation rules of enterprises, attach importance to all aspects of feed, printing, dyeing, processing and marketing, and be responsible to consumers in all aspects.
President Yang Zhaohua is optimistic about the market potential of the home textile industry: "the home textile industry has great market potential, but only good products will occupy a larger market space. Therefore, enterprises must firmly implement the standardization. Enterprises should understand that we bring consumers not only simple household products, but also a culture, a way of life, and a new concept of quality life. At the same time, we must vigorously promote the cultivation of a scientific and healthy consumption concept, so that consumers are more stringent and demanding on product standards, which can in turn force the quality of products in home textile enterprises to be improved.
To be a responsible brand, first of all, we should be a responsible enterprise. We should improve the management mechanism, strengthen the building of energy saving and emission reduction, and set an example for healthy environmental protection. We must adhere to the principle of "people-oriented", fully respect the legitimate rights and interests of employees, pay attention to the lives of employees, enhance the technical capabilities of employees, and make good use of honesty and sincerity, cooperate with the upstream and downstream businesses, build a win-win value chain together, and so on.
