Microfiber blending flash process is the top technology in international spunbonded nonwovens. The ultrafine fiber nonwoven fabric made of superfine fiber by flash technology is a kind of jumbled three-dimensional fiber mesh material, which is mainly used for packaging materials, protective clothing and cover cloth. At present, only the DuPont and Asahi Asahi of Japan are familiar with the technology of producing ultrafine fibers and their nonwovens.
The important step of flash evaporation is the preparation of flash spinning solvent. The choice of solvents is one of the main topics of DuPont Co's spunbonded technology department for several years. The flash spinning solvent consists of a more structured polyolefin, a fiber forming polymer, a main solvent, a secondary solvent and other additives. Polyethylene is the most commonly used, but because of the low melting point of polyethylene, non-woven fabrics are generally of poor thermal performance and poor durability. Blades researcher thinks, Superfine fiber The most important technical problem associated with flash process is the choice of the main solvent. The main solvent must meet four conditions. First, the boiling point must be lower than the melting point of the polymer at least 25 degrees; two, it can be dissolved into fibrin polymer at the normal boiling point or boiling point (the temperature range is 165 ~280 C, the pressure range is 5Mpa~50Mpa), and the fibrinolytic polymer can be dissolved at less than 1% of the normal boiling point. Three is usually not at extrusion temperature. Fiber forming polymer Reaction occurs; four, rapid phase separation occurs at a slight reduction in pressure.

The strength, tear resistance, puncture resistance and rupture strength of the products are 2~3 times higher than that of other methods for producing polypropylene nonwovens, and 6 times of that of kraft paper.
Although these two technologies have not yet achieved mass production, DuPont Co has made the ultrafine fiber nonwoven fabric the best protection material. It is an excellent material that combines the best properties of paper, membrane materials and fabrics, and will be applied more and more widely.
In recent years, although China's nonwovens production capacity is second only to the United States in the world, its industrial structure is not reasonable, especially the spunbonded nonwoven products are mostly medium and low grade products. The spinning technology with high technical content, especially the high performance flash technology, is still blank in our country. It imports 80 thousand ~10 tons per year and the price is high (about 8000~9000 USD / ton). Therefore, domestic experts are calling for the early development of this technology research in China.
It is worth mentioning that Guangdong composite nonwovens Co., Ltd. is now developing a nonwoven paper envelope made from flash process. It is understood that the weight of this flashing non woven envelope is only half of that of the paper envelope, but the strength is ten times that of the paper envelope. It is not only light weight, high reliability and cost saving, but also hopes to ease domestic wood tension.
