Nano Silver Mask Will Soon Be Available.

Recently, China United Semiconductor Equipment Company of Hsinchu Science Park in Taiwan, China, developed an innovative product. The vacuum plasma plating technology originally used in wafer fabrication was applied to the production of sodium silver mask. After testing, the bacteriostatic effect reached 99.9%. It is expected that the company will soon sell its products in the market. The company said that silver is the best antibacterial material, because there are a lot of sulfur groups on the surface of bacteria. Once they are attached to silver atoms, bacteria will be killed. The silver atom was laid on nonwovens by nanotechnology. It was tested by the Food Research Institute and had over 99% bacteriostatic effect on 260 kinds of bacteria and fungi, including Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae.
