Reporters learned from the the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Consumer Council, in 2008, consumer complaints in Guangxi, communications products were ranked first in quality complaints.
Statistics show that in 2008, the Guangxi Consumer Council at all levels (Consumer Association) accepted the hotspots of consumer complaints, still the quality problems, a total of 8111, accounting for 67.3% of the total complaints, including 1471 complaints about the quality of communications products, accounting for 18.1% of the total complaints quality, ranking the first place in complaints.
Consumer complaints are ranked second in the quality of clothing and footwear.
In 2008, Guangxi's Consumer Council at all levels (Consumer Association) accepted 736 complaints about the quality of clothing and shoes and hat products, accounting for 9.1% of the total quality of complaints, which fell by 27.2% compared with the same period last year. The reasons are as follows: first, clothing and shoes and hat products are daily life consumer goods, and the demand is large. Consumers are sometimes attracted by various promotional activities by marketers, and mistaken for goods with quality problems; two, some consumers seek small profits and ignore commodity quality in order to get consumers' rebates or discounts.
In addition, some consumers do not know much about such commodity knowledge and have poor recognition ability. They do not understand the basic knowledge of registered trademarks, commodity ingredients, producing areas and workmanship.
Third of complaints about food quality problems.
In 2008, Guangxi's Consumer Council at all levels accepted 435 complaints about food quality problems, accounting for 5.4% of the total quality of complaints, down 25.1% from the same period last year.
The main reason is: in 2008, the quality problems of melamine milk products and the subsequent claims handling were the main problems.
Other types of goods that consumers complain more are: the quality problems of household machinery, 281 complaints received, 3.5% of the total complaints quality; 279 complaints about the quality of the telecommunications industry, accounting for 3.4% of the total complaints quality; 275 of the total quality problems of seed seedlings and fertilizer received, accounting for 3.4% of the total quality of complaints; 168 of the total quality of decoration materials received, accounting for 2.1% of the total quality of complaints.
