Xu Yingxin, vice president of the Textile Association of China Council for international trade promotion, told Xinhua 18, the third China Textile and clothing trade exhibition (Paris) will be held in the middle of September in Paris, France, with the prestigious Texworld fabric exhibition.
The exhibition will make use of the audience resource advantage of Texworld fabric exhibition and help Chinese textile and garment enterprises adapt themselves to and maintain the European market in the cold winter.
According to the latest statistics from China Customs, the trade performance of China's top 3 trade partners with the European Union, the United States and Japan in the first 2 months of this year is better than the overall level of China's foreign trade in the same period.
Among them, the EU is still China's largest trading partner, and bilateral trade between China and the EU totaled 48 billion 780 million US dollars, down 20.2%, a drop of 7 percentage points lower than the overall decline in China's foreign trade.
Xu Xu believes that the main export markets of China's textile and clothing products are the United States, Europe and Japan. No matter how big the financial crisis is, the pattern of market players can not be changed in the short term.
