Breakthroughs In Shanxi'S High Performance Carbon Fiber Industrialization Project

The high performance carbon fiber industrialization project developed by the Shanxi Coal Chemical Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Taiyuan iron and steel (Group) Co., Ltd. has achieved the full process of T800 class carbon fiber line and M55J graphite fiber line, and has entered the trial production stage, and has successfully made a series of carbon fiber industrialization.

The project is based on the high performance polyacrylonitrile carbon fiber and graphite fiber laboratory developed by the research team led by Lv Chunxiang, Shanxi Coal Chemical Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It combines the funds, engineering technology and management experience of Taiyuan Iron and Steel Group, and develops the technology of 30 ton / year high performance polyacrylonitrile carbon fiber engineering and 5 tons / year graphite fiber technology on the side line.

At present, there are 1 sets of T800 class carbon fiber polymerization, spinning, oxidation carbonization and surface treatment technology equipment, 1 sets of equipment design and manufacturing technology process software package.
