It is believed that the state's macroeconomic regulation and control policies and related policies are very urgent for the plastic machinery industry in the key pition period. In the face of favorable industrial development opportunities, the development of the plastic machinery industry can be achieved through the support of policies.

There are nearly 700 major plastic machinery manufacturing enterprises in China, of which 250 are professional manufacturing enterprises that can provide plastic molding equipment, and 60000 are employed.

In 2005, the output value of China's plastic machinery industry was about 20 billion yuan, while the domestic market demand for the same period was around 30 billion yuan, and some of the equipment needed to rely on imports.

The vigorous development of China's plastics industry and the exuberant demand capability in China bring great opportunities for the development of the domestic plastics machinery industry. But it is not difficult to find that this has opened the market for imported plastic machinery products, and the competitiveness of foreign large companies, which have always been in the dominant position in high-end machinery products, is indeed very strong.

According to statistics, the two regions have formed a complete plastic machinery industry chain.

But in terms of large, precision and high-speed equipment, China's production base of plastic machinery is mainly concentrated in the two economically developed regions of the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta.

There are still many deficiencies in the products. In recent years, the quantity of plastic machinery imported by China is growing rapidly. Tens of thousands of plastic machines are imported each year, about two times the total output value of plastic machinery in China.

Especially in some product areas, import equipment and some foreign high-end production lines still dominate.

China's plastics machinery industry should invest more in the technological content of equipment, energy saving and energy consumption and the automation of equipment. In addition, with the acceleration of localization of large granulation units, domestic manufacturers of plastic machines can take this opportunity to enhance product function and automation level.

At the same time, as a necessity for many manufacturers in the plastics processing industry to gain profits, automated products will also be more applied to new equipment and production lines.

Wu Daming, director of the Institute of plastic machinery and plastics engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, said in an interview with this reporter.

The development trend of plastic machinery industry is becoming clearer.

In addition to a few large state owned plastics enterprise groups and some wholly owned, joint venture and private plastic products enterprises, they have advanced equipment.

The vast majority of plastic processing enterprises still rely mainly on domestic equipment.

About 20% of the equipment being used is high.

Low capacity equipment should be eliminated, but it is still in use for various reasons.

In view of the above phenomena, director Wu has his own opinion. The output of plastic machinery and equipment in China is much higher than before, and the level of technology has also been improved to a certain extent, which shows the strong development momentum of the national plastic machinery industry.

But the high-end plastic machinery and equipment, represented by large and precision (including micro), represent the main technology of plastic processing, and are still dominated by advanced equipment abroad, and the price of imported machinery and equipment is prohibitive for most small businesses.

However, due to the uneven level of domestic industry, although the orientation of national policies and the specific demand situation of domestic plastics machinery industry determine the basic development trend of plastic products.

The overall development is greatly restricted.

The development trend of domestic plastic machinery can be summarized in three directions, namely, large-scale, precision and high-speed.

In fact, these characteristics have been put forward a few years ago. In recent years, the trend of the development of plastic machinery industry to these three directions is becoming clearer.

Automation products and related technologies are widely applied in the plastics machinery industry.

The remote monitoring, diagnosis and control automation technology has been widely used in the automatic molding system, which is widely used in high-precision sensors to extrusion production lines. All these are building brand image for European plastics processing machinery manufacturers with high output, inferior products, timely delivery and long service life.

Relative to the advanced technology adopted abroad, domestic manufacturers are relatively conservative.

Mechanical products in China will use some conventional automation products, such as PLC instead of traditional instruments and high servo control system. However, because most of the plastic manufacturing enterprises in China are mostly small production lines, some complex automation technologies are not suitable for these occasions.

Once domestic cooperation has been made with foreign countries, is it true that large and highly integrated units are really soft undersides of domestic enterprises?

Several plastic pelleting machines of 70 thousand tons / year have been manufactured.

Compared with foreign products, the manufacture of large scale plastic granulator is still blank, and is totally dependent on imports, and it also has to bear high price.

Director Wu said: the large extrusion granulator is the national "11th Five-Year" major technology and equipment tackling project. It is expected that China will achieve the localization of 200 thousand tons large scale granulator units this year, which will greatly promote the development of the rubber and plastic machinery industry, and will also greatly improve the current situation of most of the machinery products running at low end.

For the whole granulation process parameters, the large plastic granulator has an intelligent system with high performance, high plateau material utilization, low energy consumption and low pollution.

The advanced control technology commonly used.

Such as melt pressure and temperature, temperature of each section of the fuselage, proportioning of various raw materials, current and voltage of the motor and other parameters are on-line tested, and microcomputer closed-loop control is adopted.

The remote detection makes the process condition more stable and the reliability of the unit operation further improved.

Director Wu commented that the application of large domestic granulator units has greatly promoted the upgrading of domestic machinery manufacturing enterprises, enabling some advanced automation products and related technologies to be integrated into products, forming a virtuous circle in the industry, and for automated product manufacturers, there are bound to be some business opportunities.
