The First International Flax Expo Was Held In December.

Reporters at the 2014 China (Jiangxi) International Jute Textile Expo press conference held in Shanghai, was informed that the first International Exhibition on hemp spinning will be held on December 11th ~13 in Xinyu, Jiangxi.

The Expo is jointly sponsored by China's Linen Textile Industry Association, Jiangxi provincial industry and Information Technology Commission and Xinyu Municipal People's government. It aims to deepen exchanges and cooperation at home and abroad, display the achievements of China's linen textile industry, spread the Chinese linen culture, and promote the steady development of the textile industry to specialization, clustering and internationalization.

In recent years, Xinyu has focused on making big and strong linen textile industry, and is committed to creating a distinctive industrial chain.

At present, there are 320 home textile enterprises in Xinyu, which have initially formed ramie textile industry chain, such as ramie planting, degumming, spinning and weaving, weaving, home textiles and garment processing. The annual processing of 600 thousand pieces of summer cloth and 1 million pieces of summer cloth bedding, respectively, account for 1/3 of the total output of the country, of which more than 90% of the grass cloth is used for export. In 2013, the whole industry achieved sales income of 2 billion 190 million yuan, and exported more than 5500 million dollars.

The county in its jurisdiction has been awarded the only title of "China's hometown of grass cloth".

Xu Jixiang, President of China's Linen Textile Association, said that it is precisely because Xinyu has a good advantage in ramie industry that it provides a foundation for the international linen Expo.

He stressed that the Expo can not only accelerate the development of Jiangxi's linen textile industry, but also further deepen exchanges and cooperation at home and abroad, and promote the complementary advantages of enterprises in the industry.

During the Expo, the activities are rich. At the China Linen Textile Industry Summit Forum and the first China Ma textile market development contribution award presentation ceremony, China's linen textile industry leaders, experts and operators will carry out in-depth discussions on how to inherit and carry forward the essence and connotation of Chinese linen culture, the inheritance of traditional hand-made summer cloth technology, the innovation of ramie "microbial degumming technology", and how to promote the textile products to better serve the life of the people.

At the fair, we will also award the "market development contribution award" to the members of the Ma Textile Association, which made outstanding achievements in the market breakthrough, new market establishment, new marketing mode and new channel development in the last year.

Meanwhile, the fashion trend of China's 2015 hemp products will also be announced during the conference.
