In recent years, the Lanxi municipal Party committee and the municipal government have been implementing the innovation driven strategy in the light of the establishment of the "strong textile market". The support policy has been put forward to promote the "machine replacement". The city has introduced more than 13000 advanced air-jet looms in the world, and has reduced the employment by more than 1/3; the textile industry has grown into a pillar industry in the whole city, and the output value of the textile industry has been increased.

It accounts for more than 1/3 of the total amount of the city; the foreign trade of the city has exceeded 1 billion US dollars, and the textile industry has contributed more than half.

It is reported that since its establishment in 2006, the Lanxi Textile Industry Association has been playing an active role as bridge link, implementing brand strategy, organizing various activities, exploring industry self-discipline, and improving the overall quality of the textile industry.

At the same time, the textile industry in Lanxi has developed rapidly and has made remarkable achievements: the textile enterprises in the whole city have increased from less than 700 to more than 1700, of which 181 enterprises and 59 enterprises are listed on the textile industry, and the textile industry.

The increase from 4 billion 300 million yuan to 23 billion 900 million yuan has solved the problem of more than 50 thousand people's employment.

At present, the production of denim in Lanxi is the first in the province. The output of pure cotton elastic fabric is the first in the country, and has won 10 awards including "China's famous weaving city", "China's textile industry base city" and "national textile and garment talents training base".
