As the largest importer of cotton in the world, any change in China's demand for international cotton will affect the cotton trade situation. Therefore, since May, the price of China's imported cotton has begun to decline.

In May, the average price of imported cotton in China was 15500 yuan / ton, and it dropped to 11500 yuan / ton in November 8th this year, a decrease of 26%.

The Jiangsu inspection and Quarantine Bureau reminded that the price of imported cotton has dropped significantly, which has led to a decline in the quality of imported cotton.

This year, the Jiangsu inspection and Quarantine Bureau found that the overall average rate of non conformity of imported cotton grades was 10.61%, an increase of 2.27% over the same period, and the overall average rate of non conformity was 7.66%, an increase of 2.27% over the same period. The overall average rate of non conformity of the micron value was 4.51%, down 2.59 percentage points from the same period last year.

The overall average non coincidence rate of strength was 4.04%, and 0.97% increased over the same period.

The cotton quality of three countries, including 79.5% of Jiangsu's cotton imports, has declined to varying degrees in three countries.

Among them, the average rate of non conformity of cotton grades in the United States increased by 5.23 percentage points, the average length of non conformity rate increased by 2.88 percentage points, the average non conformity rate of cotton in India increased by 2.05 percentage points, the length of non conformity rate increased by 4.54 percentage points, and the Australian cotton grade non conformity rate increased by 7.36 percentage points.
