Xue Hong said that the old Beijing people are still buying the main force of the old department stores, and the customers who visit the shops are mainly middle-aged and elderly people.

"The old Beijing people who come to shop in general spend one or two hours in our shop. They come to buy a big bag every time they buy it, buy a bunch of them at a time, and sometimes buy seven hundred or eight hundred yuan things to go home. These people consume more than 70% of their turnover." Xue Hong said, "there are also some young people who come to our store to shop. But this part of the customers have low purchasing power and few patronage, so they can hardly see the young people after 90."
