China Feather And Down Industry Association Held A Press Conference In Beijing

A press conference was held in Beijing to announce the quality of the "double 12" special day down clothing, and the failure rate of Tmall Taobao down clothing was nearly 70%.

China feather and down industry association has purchased 30 pieces of explosive down jacket on Tmall and Taobao, which are of high sales volume, high popularity, low price, and the top 100 of the total, entrusted by the inspection and Quarantine Laboratory of Zhejiang entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau. The laboratory is based on GB/T 14272-2011.

"Standard" is the basis for testing, and the main indicators such as composition analysis, fluffiness, cleanliness and oxygen consumption are tested.

Of the 30 samples, 11 were qualified.

It is 36.7%.

Of the 19 unqualified samples, 15 were filled with smashed wool, belonging to serious fake and inferior products, accounting for 50% of the total sample size.

In recent years, due to the continuous rising of feather raw materials, accessories and labor costs, some non-standard production enterprises have been losing their minds in the "stuffing" which consumers can not see in order to reduce costs. The "products" of low price chicken feather clothing and smashed wool are flooding the market, while the quality supervision of the network market is relatively weak. Some even pretend to be brand products, which are seriously inferior to the legitimate rights and interests of the regular producers and consumers.

In response to the AQSIQ's call, the China feather and down Industry Association continued to pay attention to the quality of online down garments, purify the market environment of the down products, safeguard the interests of consumers, protect the legitimate rights and interests of regular enterprises, and protect the interests of the industry and the market order.

The China feather and down Industry Association recommends to the society the products that are worthy of "feather and down products' credit guarantee mark". For example, the label products are of quality problems and are verified by the designated testing departments. The Chinese feather and down industry association will provide joint and several liability for full compensation.

In 2013, China imported 4 million 150 thousand tons of cotton, accounting for 40% of the total cotton consumption in the whole year. In the 5~7 months of this year, backbone PTA enterprises made some progress by strengthening self-discipline, reducing output and standardizing competition order.

But how to continue to maintain self-discipline and market order, how to effectively and normally conduct the price fluctuations of downstream industries, and so on, still need to pay more attention and research.

At the same time, focusing on market end demand, further upgrading the functional and differential levels of fiber, and actively developing new chemical fiber varieties are both the fundamental way to resolve the contradiction of capacity structure and the urgent and long-term task of the industry to solve the contradiction between supply and demand of textile raw materials such as cotton and to promote the adjustment of industrial structure.
