The second batch of demonstration zones for quality and safety of industrial products exported by the state has been released. 25 quality and safety demonstration zones in the country have been examined, including 4 leather industries. This is the first time that the leather industry has been approved by the national export industrial product quality and safety demonstration zone.

The product quality and safety demonstration zone, Chengdu Wuhou export footwear product quality safety demonstration zone and so on passed the examination, including footwear product quality safety demonstration area 3, fur product quality and safety demonstration area 1.

It is reported that the list is based on the AQSIQ's guidance on the construction of quality and safety demonstration zones for export industrial products and the implementation standard of the national demonstration zone for the quality and safety of industrial products, which is applied by local governments and determined by the inspection and quarantine inspection bureaus of the inspection and quarantine Bureau directly under the AQSIQ.

According to the guidance, the enterprises in the 4 demonstration zones shall implement the mode of verification supervision or credit supervision in principle, and the backbone enterprises in the region shall give priority to the object of export exemption inspection enterprises, giving priority to the exemption plan, expanding the scope of exemption from inspection and increasing the number of enterprises exempt from inspection.

At the same time, the enterprises in the demonstration area will be encouraged to implement the common inspection method according to the procedures, support policies such as public inspection and information service platform construction.

In 2015, besides the import tariffs of two new free trade zones in Switzerland and Iceland, import tariffs on leather products imported from Peru, Chile, Costa Rica and other FTA were further favorable than last year.

In 2015, the average import tariff of China's leather products imported from Peru was 3.3%, 8.8 percentage points lower than the most favored nation average import tariff, 0.7 percentage points lower than the previous year.

Among them, luggage, leather clothing, other leather products, footwear, raw fur, fur products and other average reduction of 1 percentage points.

In 2015, China's import tariffs on leather products imported from Chile were all reduced to 0, down 0.2 percentage points over the previous year.

In 2015, the average import tariff of China's leather products imported from Costa Rica was 1.4%, 10.7 percentage points lower than the most favored nation average import tariff, 1.4 percentage points lower than the previous year.

Among them, the average import duty of raw leather was 3.6%, 0.4 percentage points lower than that of last year, the average import tariff of semi finished leather was 5.1%, 1 percentage points lower than that of last year, and the average import tariff of finished leather was 4.6%, 1 percentage points lower than that of last year.
