The graduates who are more active and unconstrained by traditional ideas are not only influenced by the Internet age, but also have a broader vision and diversified exploration spirit in the design concept and future career orientation.

Hou Qianru, who is graduating from the fashion design department of China Central Academy of Fine Arts this year, is such a typical representative of post-90s graduates.

The characteristics of the Internet age can be directly perceived in her works, especially her graduation design work, town minor.

The creation of some designers is to start from the self, to vent some emotion or to express some attitude. This kind of theme is easy to start, but it will go into a narrow circle and go towards formalism. Some designers also come from paying tribute to an artist or getting inspiration from some works of art, such as architecture, video and painting.

These two phenomena are especially evident in student works.

We can often see such thematic words in students' graduation works: life and death, affection, friendship, memory and so on.

However, unlike most of her classmates, Hou Qianru has become a designer of "artistic temperament" under the influence of free and strong artistic atmosphere of China Central Academy of Fine Arts. She has put the perspective of her graduation work in "marketplace life".

In her series, we have seen a careful observation of the way of life of the citizens, such as wearing a jacket, wearing a coat, wearing a vest, wearing trousers and trousers, and even wearing a pair of woollen socks and slippers.

"Although I am 90 years old, I still have strong emotional approval for the old objects used by my parents in 80s.

So when I walked into the streets and talked with ordinary people of different ages and occupations, the life scenes touched me resonated with my memory.

I think this is what Chinese people own and have emotional memories.

So when designing, I deliberately went to the old market to look for things like the tiger gate and some other modern cities whose families had long been missing but full of life characteristics, and applied them to clothing accessories.

Color is dominated by the low saturation powder purple that is commonly seen in clothing such as blue and plastic.

The profile mainly focuses on comfort, easy wearing and easy labor. Most of them are based on shoulder and plane cuts.

"During this creative process, my tutor, Mr. Lv Yue, has always encouraged me to stick to my design philosophy, and give me high recognition and maximum room to play.

She respects every student's design ideas, encourages them and helps us accomplish them, so that we can have the works that break through traditional constraints.

Hou Qianru said that the biggest achievement of China Central Academy of Fine Arts in the past four years is the broadening of the horizon and the cultivation of free thinking.

"No matter which profession, in fact, it is created in a great artistic atmosphere.

Instead of being confined to a particular profession, it can integrate professional resources and make what they want to express.

In recent years, there are many problems in the docking of school and enterprise talents in the garment industry. Many colleges and universities are constantly changing and trying to improve their educational methods and learning environment, and strive to create more and wider learning and employment opportunities for students.

The change and demand of the employment environment of fashion designers not only make the colleges actively respond to changes, but also urge the students of fashion design major to have more distinct personal characteristics, more open thinking and more comprehensive abilities.

Perhaps, this is exactly what the post-90s fashion design graduates are more free, self and brave to break the traditional characteristics.

Because of the professionalism of the dress design, most of the graduates' employment orientation is directly into the garment enterprises or their own brands, and some people choose to go abroad for further study. In short, they continue to be engaged in fashion design.

After graduation, Hou Qianru will go to England to study, but she will take the lead in choosing a cross market fashion market.

"It has to be said that this is a challenge, and sometimes I wonder whether I can complete this task.

However, in the four years of China Central Academy of Fine Arts, the open mode of education has enabled me to get involved in lectures and lectures on other fields such as design management, marketing, Internet interaction and so on.

Many people feel that these are not related to fashion design, but in my view, they can take the initiative to understand their consumers, understand their needs, design and products to better adapt to the market.

She believes that not being immersed in the small world graduated from a prestigious school, with more international vision and gathering more like-minded friends, it will be more conducive to understanding, understanding the market and understanding fashion.

"In the future, maybe we can make new fashions with new understanding of the market, or make use of the marketing methods learned to do something for the publicity and promotion of China's design.

I think this is not a turning point, but an opportunity.

This is the new thinking of fashion designers in the Internet age.
