A cluster of industries

Humen's clothing industry is famous for its woolen weaving industry in Dalang.

In 1979, when the farmers in Dalang were busy looking after their lychee trees, Lu Chengpei of Hongkong saw the more than 10 thousand square meter land in Dalang's big well litchi garden, and built a garden factory on the land.

This is named Dalang wool.

The factory of the first plant planted a seed for the big wool weaving industry.

By 1996, there were 1109 households in the village, located in the central area of Dalang town. There were more than 200 households in the private and private wool weaving enterprises. In the village, the wool weaving industrial city was built, and became the famous "wool weaving village". It became an important sweater production base in Dalang town.

In that year, a road about 3 kilometres long in the Lane head village, erected hundreds of wool weaving signs on both sides.

In 2012, Dalang's gross industrial output value exceeded 40 billion yuan, of which the output value of the sweater industry reached 16 billion yuan.

Like Humen and Dalang, other towns in Dongguan follow the same golden development path, starting from small factories and expanding their scale.

At present, there are 11 provincial industrial clusters upgrading demonstration zones, such as Shilong electronic information, Humen clothing, Changan hardware mould, Daling Shan furniture, Houjie shoes industry, Changping photoelectric, Central Hall recycled paper, Shijie electronics, Qingxi photoelectric communication and Dao Kung foods, etc., and the 7 provincial level industrial cluster upgrading demonstration zones, the thick street furniture originality, Humen information pmission cable, the cultural innovation of Guancheng, Liaobu automobile, Zhangmutou plastic chemical industry, Hengli mould, Chai Shan food and other 7 municipal industrial clusters, and the number of provincial industrial clusters ranks second in Guangdong province.

Authoritative data show that Dongguan has highlighted the advantages of industrial agglomeration, and has declared and identified 11 torch plan special industrial bases and 22 specialized towns, and has set up 12 professional town technological innovation platforms.

In 2012, the 18 industrial clusters had 1.1 industrial enterprises with characteristic industries, and the total industrial output value of the characteristic industries reached about 250000000000 yuan.
