It covers five major categories and 32 events, covering important events, industry forums and buyers' meetings, domestic trade and investment promotion activities, foreign trade and investment promotion and other activities.

In January this year, the general office of the State Council specially issued the "guiding opinions on supporting the development of Xinjiang's textile and garment industry to promote employment" (issued by the State Council [2015] 2), and clearly pointed out that Xinjiang's development of the textile and garment industry is not only the important content of constructing the core area of the Xinjiang Silk Road Economic Belt, but also an important measure to optimize the economic structure of Xinjiang, increase employment opportunities, expand employment scale, promote stable employment of Xinjiang, especially the ethnic groups in southern Xinjiang, and accelerate the process of new urbanization.
