(Qiu Dong) twenty-first years after the Expo, with the rapid increase of the scale of the exhibition, the intellectual property protection of the exhibition has gone through a process from scratch, from passive to active.

In order to ensure the orderly conduct of the exhibition, the organizers recognized the importance of intellectual property rights in 1997. They attached great importance to the protection of the intellectual property rights of the exhibition, and set up an intellectual property consultation and mediation agency at the exhibition site for the 9 consecutive year.

The Organizing Committee of every home textile exhibition will adopt a series of measures to protect the intellectual property rights of participating enterprises.

Through many years' efforts, a set of effective mechanisms for protecting intellectual property rights of exhibitions has been constructed from pre exhibition to post exhibition.

First of all, all exhibitors must abide by the intellectual property protection undertaking signed by the Organizing Committee of the exhibition.

Secondly, the organizing committee will still set up the legal advisory office at the exhibition site, which is responsible for the protection of intellectual property rights during the exhibition.

The members of the office are composed of the legal staff of the sponsor, the senior lawyers in the intellectual property field, the Intellectual Property Office, the copyright bureau and the staff of the trade and Industry Bureau.

Finally, the organizing committee has always attached great importance to the publicity of the protection of property rights. Apart from placing a series of publicity materials in English and Chinese in the corresponding locations, the exhibitors will have some rules to follow. They will also provide relevant legal assistance to the exhibitors during the period of development and after the exhibition.

In recent textile exhibitions, the number of intellectual property disputes has been declining. This is due to the increasing awareness of intellectual property protection in domestic enterprises, and the strengthening of judicial and administrative protection of intellectual property rights and the enhancement of law-abiding awareness of domestic enterprises.
