At present, there are more than 320 kinds of hemp spinning enterprises in Xinyu. Basically, ramie planting, degumming, spinning and weaving, weaving, home textiles and garment processing have basically formed a complete hemp industry chain. The annual processing of 850 thousand pieces of summer cloth is 1 million 500 thousand pieces of summer cloth bedding, which accounts for more than 90% of the total output of the country, 1/3.

For export, in 2014, the main business income of the whole industry reached 3 billion 500 million yuan, and foreign exchange earning more than 8000 million dollars, and the linen textile industry was also included in one of the twenty demonstration industrial clusters in Jiangxi province.
