How Does Li Zuliang Realize The International Dream Of The Tailor?
Designer How can we meet the audience's strong desire to explore after the show is finished? The design idea that has been precipitated for half a year or even longer can not be ignored by the deep understanding of the language and the mind. Let's ask and answer the questions with the designer, gradually peel off the appearance and see the essence, and understand the mental process of a show.
TAweekly: May I ask your 2016 spring and summer series this season? Design Where does inspiration come from?
Li Zuliang: I have two themes in this season: the first is water elves, and water is the soul of all things. The different changes will inspire different inspiration. So I tried different styles of evolution with water elements, and created a series of holiday wind; the second series is our new high-end brand named Oudifufay. The two brands are different in positioning. Oudifufay is mainly based on fashion and light luxury, and is more sensitive to fashion.
The birth of Oudifufay stems from the two themes of our fashion week in New York, such as "from the heart" and "like the future". So the theme of Oudifufay in this China Fashion Week is called "Xiang Xiang Xiang". In the design of this series, we are concerned about the spiritual wildlife, elephant, and we go out and come back like an elephant, which is also a reminder of the public's concern and protection for elephants.
TAweekly: how do you feel about this China fashion week?
Li Zu Liang After another year came to fashion week again. We all know that this is the largest, largest and most popular designer ever since the founding of China International Fashion week. There are many fresh faces showing the strong foundation of Chinese design. At the same time, we can see that the fashion week is more standardized and more international. There is another point that makes me feel very sad, that is, the rapid improvement of Chinese model strength, they are really better and better.
TAweekly: is the future focus of branding business in China or in the international arena?
Li Zuliang: in fact, building an international brand belonging to China is my dream. I have always said that I am a little tailor. So can my little tailor design a brand that belongs to the world from a Chinese perspective? This idea has always inspired me to pursue clothes, and of course, I also know that now I need to do everything well and take good steps.
TAweekly: what are the highlights of this season's clothing design and tailoring?
Li Zuliang: the first series I present to you is a very comfortable and elegant feeling, so the shape of the garment is designed with cocoon and A shape. This is also one of my design concepts. Making clothes should pay more attention to the combination of wearing comfort and fashion. So cocoon shape is the best way to tolerate all kinds of stature and take advantage of the disadvantages. I believe it will bring the enjoyment of most people to wear.
TAweekly: what have you been designing for?
Li Zuliang: I think fashion design is not only a display on the T stage, but also to bring us a sense of comfort. This is the design concept that I have always adhered to. Of course, the fashion industry is a hundred flowers bloom. Everyone has their own ideas. Here we need different designs and different elements to display a complete fashion and complete dress design.
