The sales volume of some premium cotton and ramie cloth decreased by more than 3% compared with last week, up nearly 8% compared with the same period last year.

As the temperature continues to drop, cotton farmers need to spend their holidays, and the enthusiasm for selling seed cotton is increasing. However, the quality of seed cotton has decreased, and the purchase of cotton ginning plants has been cautious.

In November 26th, the purchase price of Xinjiang seed cotton was about 5.32 yuan / kg, down 0.06 yuan / kg compared with the previous week, and the mainland price was about 5.98 yuan / kg, down 0.05 yuan / kg.

In addition, domestic textile enterprises are facing difficulties such as weak management, insufficient orders, poor sales and tight funds. At the same time, raw materials inventory has been replenish in the early stage, the enthusiasm of purchasing raw materials has begun to decline, and the quality and price requirements of lint are strict.
