Recycling Of Waste Textiles Is A Long Way To Go.
Giant panda "11 months" swallow more than 800 tons of old clothes behind is a huge "waste spinning" industry chain.
Whether they are old or new, they all love to eat.
Hangzhou giant panda has more than 800 tons of swallowed clothes in 11 months
Waste clothing recycling
Behind this is an industrial chain that needs improvement.
Not long ago, Luo Da Bo, who lives in Jialong Xiyuan of Xihu District, found a giant panda at the gate of the village.
"This is used to recycle the waste clothes from the residents' homes."
Luo said, "I suggest that the relevant departments in the conspicuous place indicate that more than a few new clothes can be put into the giant panda."
To this end, Luo Da Bo has recently sent a telegram to the mayor's hotline 12345, expressing his views.
The giant panda, known as "giant panda", is called the giant panda's old clothes recycling bin.
This is an old clothing recycling and recycling project jointly launched by the municipal management committee, the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, the environmental protection organization, the green Zhejiang and the waste recycling company.
Since the first appearance in April last year, by the end of November this year, 1720 giant pandas have been installed in Hangzhou and Ling'an.
The giant panda, which was seen by Luo Da Bo, was settled in the jiluyuan community in early October this year.
For Luo's advice, the relevant departments said, "giant pandas" are not "picky eaters", regardless of the old and thin clothes, they all love to eat.
The recycling unit will treat the recycled clothing according to the old or new degree, or donate or process it into a regenerated product.
Hangzhou produces at least one hundred thousand tons of old clothes every year.
The emergence of "giant panda" has solved the problem of "waste of fashion" to a certain extent.
"Hangzhou Panda" who likes to eat old clothes
11 months, "swallow" more than 800 tons of old clothes.
MS Lu is an environmental liaison officer in Jialong Garden community.
At the end of September and early October this year, eight or nine "giant pandas" were added to the community, and Miss Lu would take the time to "see" them.
The giant panda is about 1.8 meters tall and can eat seventy or eighty kilograms of old clothes in one breath.
"Hold on to its nose and open its chin, so residents can put the unwanted old clothes in, and then their mouths come together, and the old clothes slip into their huge belly."
Lu described to reporters the "giant panda" and "swallowing" steps.
The recycling company has been collecting a group of products for a period of time. During the season changing season, the "giant panda" has eaten more, and the residents themselves will contact the recycling company by telephone.
Hangzhou Shenqi waste recycling chain Co., Ltd. is the "giant panda" home.
Reporters have learned that Shenqi has applied for a patent for giant pandas. Every cute giant panda is also a recycled product of environmental protection. It is made of 20 kilograms of waste clothing fiber and FRP.
According to the data provided by the Municipal Bureau of civil affairs, from January to the end of November this year, 835.56 tons of recycled clothing were recovered from the giant panda project, of which only 125.11 tons were recovered in November alone.
The naive giant panda has gained popularity in Hangzhou.
Where are the waste clothes from "giant panda" and "eat"?
Li Zhen said that the two main uses of waste clothing are donation, reuse and recycling.
Li Zhen is the deputy general manager of Hangzhou Shenqi waste recycling chain Co., Ltd., and also the initiator of Hangzhou clothing recycling project.
In general, the recycled clothes are sorted by 8 of the new boundaries, 8 of which are new and old ones as charitable donations, and 8 of the new clothes are recycled.
"This year, 27100 clothes have been donated to the masses of Tibet, Qinghai and other places through donations."
The relevant officials of the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau said that the citizens were very supportive of the donation of 8 or more new clothes, but most of the citizens chose to throw them into the trash cans for 8 of the new ones, especially the broken clothes.
In fact, no matter how old the clothes are, they are long.
textile
They can be recycled and reused.
In the Shenqi company's Yuhang Chong Xian waste clothing recycling point, the reporter saw that the clothes that can be donated should be washed, ironed, sterilized, packaged and so on. Every link is equipped with a special person.
Other worn and worn parts, after washing, are manually operated by the workers at the recycling point, making masks, dishcloth and other daily necessities, and giving back to the community in a certain proportion. Another part of them is "flowering" treatment, which is about to break the waste clothes into cotton fibers, and then become textile raw materials, and cooperate with the corresponding enterprises for recycling.
China is a big country in the production and use of textiles in the world. The number of waste textiles produced every year is over 26 million tons.
Insiders believe that the use of waste textiles is extremely extensive, especially in the field of industrial textiles, which has obvious advantages. For example, after the loosening and processing of the waste textile fibers, a certain degree of fineness can be achieved, and the fabric can be rewoven. If this requirement is not met, it can extend to the direction of automobile materials and building materials.
Manufacture of industrial textiles such as wall materials, cement reinforcement materials, fire dragons, etc., has become an export channel for the recycling of waste textiles.
Mining the "gold mine" of waste clothing has formed a closed circular economy mode of "resource product consumption renewable resources", which provides a sustainable power for the structural adjustment and sustainable development of textile industry. This has become the consensus of the industry.
Zhejiang Hua Ding Group also entered the field of comprehensive utilization of waste textiles last year, aiming to build an experimental base for the recovery and comprehensive utilization of waste textiles for the whole industry, and serve as a technical platform for the industry.
"We are recycling enterprises, downstream processing enterprises."
Li Zhen, Shenqi company, said: "we are striving to build a complete industrial chain of waste textiles to realize the recovery and reuse of industrialization."
Behind the giant panda
It is a huge "waste spinning" industrial chain.
How to form the circular economy mode of waste textiles?
Relevant officials of the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau said that qualified and capable social organizations or enterprises should be encouraged to take part in the recycling of old clothing donated materials.
At present, all the expenses involved in the pportation, cleaning, disinfection, and donation of the "giant pandas" project are covered by the relevant enterprises.
Shen Qi company Li Zhen admitted that over the past year, the biggest cost of the project was manpower cost.
Asked how much the cost has been invested, Li Zhen said it was confidential, "probably millions."
Shenqi company has a recycling team of 50 people, each two people equipped with a van, and the sub block goes out daily.
The recycle point is equipped with 3 employees, responsible for cleaning, ironing, disinfection and other links.
"On average, the company will spend 1.5-2 yuan on every piece of recycled clothing, and the return on regenerated products is only a few hundred yuan per ton."
Li Zhen said, "at present, input and output are disproportionate, mainly because the added value of recycled products is relatively low."
In order to search for the best mode of comprehensive utilization of waste clothing, in November 2012, China Resources Comprehensive Utilization Association joint ventures, universities and research institutes and other units jointly formed a strategic alliance for the comprehensive utilization of waste textiles, and Shen Qi was also a member of the alliance.
After the establishment of the alliance, through the cooperation among members, the "research and industrialization of waste garment recycling technology" jointly announced by member units was awarded the first prize of science and Technology Conference of national comprehensive utilization of resources in 2013.
However, the reality is before us. There are not only many kinds of waste textiles, but also various kinds of fiber components, such as cotton, wool, silk, hemp, chemical fiber and blended fabric. The existing comprehensive utilization technology of waste textiles needs further improvement.
"Generally speaking, at present, our country
Recycling of waste textiles
It's still in its infancy. "
In an interview with reporters, the relevant director of the environment and Resources Committee of the China Federation of textile industry said: "the limited use of the region, the relatively low value-added products, the small scale of enterprises, the lack of industrial convergence, and the lack of industrial agglomeration effect restrict the development of the recycling and reuse system of waste textiles."
Zhejiang province's Renewable Resources Recycling Association's responsible person said that the comprehensive development of the waste textile industry is only a prototype of the industry. To achieve leapfrog development, there is urgent need for policy support. At present, the preferential policy of national industrial policy has not yet covered the field of waste textiles.
"Only if the enterprise profits, can it directly lead to the development of the industrial chain, and whether the recycled products can win the market has become the key."
Ms. Qi, an environmental protection volunteer, believes that "recycling economy aims at maximizing the utilization of resources and minimizing waste emissions, so as to achieve the goal of saving resources and improving the ecological environment. In the final analysis, people need to change their ideas."
Li Zhen, who has been struggling for more than 20 years in the recycling industry, agrees with the above statement. At the same time, he conceded that at present, the company is moving forward in the giant panda project. "We have jointly developed intelligent systems with universities. In the future, it is possible to use intelligent systems to fixate and recycle waste clothes."
