Adidas Children'S Wear Disney Town New Shop Opens

The group announced that it opened a store focusing on sports and sports fashion in Disney Town, Disney resort, Shanghai.
The new store was opened in May 28th.
The Adidas store in Disney town has an area of 600 square meters. The Adidas popular HomeCourt flagship store mode is adopted in the design.
In addition to sports performance, Sports Classics and children's series of sports and sports fashion products, the store will also sell a series of authorized limited edition products of Disney, mango and Star Wars.
About 30% of the stores are children's category.
Expanding the sales network to Disney town is seen by Adidas as "an important step in leading the fast growing children market in China".
By the end of 2015, Adidas had about 9000 stores in China, of which 1782 were children's exclusive stores.
Although this store in Disney town is not a children's franchise, however, considering that there will be many family tourists with young children in Disney Park, Adidas obviously wants to take a group of young fans.
Gao Jiali, managing director of Adidas group Greater China (Colin Currie), said Adidas is committed to cultivating a new generation of young people's love for sports and looking forward to the store.
In Adidas's Creating the New strategic plan, children's business and soccer, running, Sports Classics and women's sports are regarded as the main driving force for group development.
In order to put more resources and energy into the above core businesses, Adidas has recently streamlined its brand teams and plans to sell some golf and lifestyle brands.

According to the "China children's wear market report" released by Ou Rui consulting, Adidas children's wear ranked fifth in the Chinese market in 2015, lagging behind the homemade children's clothing brands such as Shen Ma, an Na, Xiao pig banner and Hong Xiao er.
In addition to Adidas, including A&F, GAP, Metersbonwe and other domestic and foreign fashion brands, PUMA, 361 and other sports brands, and even Kate Spade and other high-end fashion brands, are interested in overweight children's clothing business.
